Set up Edyt on your Mac

Drag Edyt into Applications
Open the Edyt .dmg you downloaded, then drag Edyt into your Applications folder.

Allow Accessibility
Open Edyt and allow Accessibility when it asks. That lets Edyt read the text you select and put results back.

Press the shortcut
Select text in any app and press Ctrl+Shift+Space.

Yes, with Edyt Web. It runs the same actions in your browser on text you write or paste, on any computer or phone, including Linux and Chromebooks. You can try it without an account.
Stable is the release we recommend for everyday use. Beta builds get upcoming features for testing and can have rough edges. Between releases, stable can briefly be newer than beta.
SmartScreen warns about apps it hasn't seen many downloads of yet, even signed ones. Edyt's installer is code-signed. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
Edyt checks for updates in the background and downloads them for you. They install the next time you quit Edyt, or right away when you choose Restart and update.
Mac builds are signed with our Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple. Windows builds are code-signed. For what happens to your text, see Security.
