Osorno Volcano is a snow-capped stratovolcano in Chile's Lake District, overlooking Todos los Santos Lake. A few things worth knowing:

• It's one of the most active volcanoes in the southern Andes, though this entry catches it calm, glowing orange at sunset.
• The condors mentioned nearby are Andean condors, often seen riding thermal updrafts along its slopes.

Its near-symmetrical cone is often compared to Mount Fuji, which is why it draws so many hikers and photographers.
